Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and assist sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property. Determine clients’ needs and financials to propose solutions that suit them.
- Intermediate negotiation processes, consult clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters, ensuring fair and honest dealings.
- Perform comparative market analysis to estimate properties’ value.
- Display and market real property to possible buyers.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for sellers and buyers.
- Maintain and update listings of available properties.
- Cooperate with appraisers, escrow companies, lenders and home inspectors, etc.
- Develop networks with attorneys, mortgage lenders and contractors and vendors.
- Promote sales through advertisements, open houses and listing services.
- Remain knowledgeable about real estate markets and best practices.

Steps To Obtaining A Real Estate License
- Register and attend Real Estate School to take the Principles of Real Estate class This can be in the classroom or online. Estimated cost of the live classes are $349-$390.00 including books. Online classes are the least expensive. Groupon sometimes has specials that may be less expensive.
- Take the National and State Exam.
- Join A Real Estate Firm ( Paragon Real Estate Group).
- Apply to the State.
- Apply to the MLS.
- Join Your Local REALTORS Association.
